My name is Matt Hitchcock and I have been involved with taxidermy my whole life as I am a second-generation taxidermist. I live in Severn, Md with my wife and our two kids. My oldest is Cody (19) who is working full time. And our youngest, Alana (17) has a strong passion for softball and hunting. I am an avid outdoorsmen who has always had a passion for wildlife. In my free time I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with my family.

I have had the opportunity to study with multiple World Champion Taxidermists in mammals and game heads. Having this experience has given me the ability to create the highest quality, anatomically correct and lifelike taxidermy work for my clients. I started competing at a professional level and over the years I was able to earn my way up to a master level taxidermist/competitor. I have had the honor of earning some of the highest achievements including, state championship titles, best of shows and best of category at state and regional conventions. During my career I have had the pleasure of working on trophies from all over the world including trophies from Africa, Asia, South American, New Zealand, Europe and North America.

I worked for a taxidermist full time for 10 years and I have recently decided to branch out and open my own business. I look forward to serving my existing customers and to earning new ones as well.
